The Logitech G933 is the predecessor to the G930 released a few years back, it supports a USB dongle which emits a wireless signal to the headset plus other separate audio channel inputs. Here’s what I did and my experiences with the hardware. There were a few issues out of the box on Linux but I managed to get it all working. To disable sleep mode, select Never.I recently came into possession of a Logitech G933 wireless headset and started using it on my Linux work laptop for 100% of my audio and video conferencing needs.

Choose the desired sleep timer start time from the pop-menu that appears.

Under the Levels/Advanced Equalizer box on the right, click Change.

Launch LGS and click the Customize Audio Experience icon.

Set the switch on your G933 gaming headset to Wireless On mode.

Connect the G933 wireless receiver to a USB port on your computer.

Make sure that LGS 8.79 is installed on your computer.

To check the firmware version, launch Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), and then click the Settings icon.

NOTE: To enable the sleep timer, your G933 gaming headset must be using firmware version 98.2.25 (or later). You can extend the timer start time up to 30 minutes, or disable it entirely. Sleep mode conserves power on the G933 gaming headset, and prolongs usage before you need to recharge the headset’s battery. By default, the G933 gaming headset enters sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity (no audio input or output).
